What: Transmission of
practical electro-clinical diagnostic work, decision-making and reasoning in
the management of patients with severe epilepsies, taught in small groups
and real life situations. The 2010 School will be devoted to emotion
and seizures, organised in the tradition of the EPJB Schools for the
fifth time in Europe outside France with cooperation from Czech and Austrian colleagues
to give added Regional/European value. Interaction of knowledge gained
from different methodological and conceptual approaches (always including
stereoencephalography) should give outstanding Topic/Professional added
value. Patient follow-up Clinical seminars and a Students’
Workshop (selected case presentations) will be included. A Topic oriented
review and update satellite on different aspects of emotion is added in the
beginning of the school addressing a wide audience of clinicians and psychologists
from junior to senior level.
