Young neurologists need good clinical training. Not all centers have the facilities to train young neurologists adequately in their area of interest, so the trainee may have to spend time in another country. One of the YNT's priorities is to help interested trainees to find a specialised training center in their subspeciality.

The YNT also aims to provide funding for training abroad. It is important that such training is recognised in the trainee's home country, which will depend on quality assurance and people not just having a cheap holiday. Therefore any training abroad should be approved in advance to ensure it is worthwhile.

The YNT will provide information about clinical training programmes and host centers on this website, to help trainess to select where to spend their precious time.
